Prof. Waleed Alhazzani

Dr. Waleed Alhazzani is a preeminent figure in medicine, serving as an associate professor at McMaster University and an honorary professor at King Saud University. As the CEO of the Scientific Research Center at MODHS in Riyadh, he leads pivotal international multicenter clinical trials. Notably, Dr. Alhazzani has authored over 220 publications and is a driving force in the creation of clinical practice guidelines on a global scale. He chairs the Guidelines in Intensive Care, Development, and Evaluation (GUIDE) group and has been instrumental in the development of the internationally recognized Surviving Sepsis Campaign guidelines.
